Levi

Miranda Whitaker's baby boy, Levi, was born with both his soft and hard pallet wide open. Their family is very dear and precious to me and Levi was scheduled for surgery tomorrow to repair the palate but the surgery has been cancelled due to refusal to pay by the insurance company. This is very frustrating. He has ear, nose and throat problems as a result of this condition and surgery is medically as well as cosmetically necessary. Is this one of those times where I dare say national health care would be a good thing?
